Personal Injury Attorney Robert “Bo” P. Bruner

Bo Bruner has been lead and/or co-counsel in numerous cases resulting in multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, some in excess of ten million dollars.  He has successfully handled cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, defective/dangerous products, eighteen-wheeler accidents, dangerous roadsides, industrial accidents, pharmaceutical injuries, consumer fraud and environmental contamination.  In 2011 Alabama Super Lawyers Magazine selected Mr. Bruner as a Rising Star in the field of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Law.

Education:

Mr. Bruner earned dual undergraduate degrees from Appalachian State University and graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  While at Wake Forest, Bo served as Captain of the National Trial Team, President of the Student Trial Bar, and a member of the Moot Court Board.   During law school Mr. Bruner received the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers’ Most Outstanding Advocate Award.   Upon graduation he was selected for membership in the Order of the Barristers and received the Robert Goldberg Award for Trial Advocacy, Wake Forest’s highest trial advocacy honor.

Licenses / Admissions:

Mr. Bruner is licensed to practice law in both Alabama and North Carolina.  While he regularly handles cases throughout the state of Alabama, Mr. Bruner has been extensively involved in serious cases elsewhere including a case he tried to two-million dollar verdict in Knoxville Tennessee and in which he served as lead counsel on appeal.  (Usher v. Professional Affiliations:

Mr. Bruner is a member of both the Alabama and North Carolina State Bars.  He is also a member of the Alabama Association for Justice (executive committee member) and the American Association for Justice.

Professional Experience:

Prior to joining the Belt Law Firm in 2011, Mr. Bruner practiced for a number of years at two other Birmingham firms where he gained valuable experience representing individuals and families harmed by the carelessness of others.

Personal:

Bo is married to the former Brooke Eichelberger of Birmingham, Alabama.  They have a daughter, Caroline.
